Our Films
GSL Originals
We are a film production company based in Kurdistan, Iraq, creating original films and visual stories for audiences in the region and around the world.
Working at the intersection of local authenticity and international cinema, we develop and produce stories that emerge from Kurdistan and Iraq while speaking to universal human experiences.
Our region is our starting point — not our limit.
We collaborate with filmmakers, artists, producers, and creative partners across borders, bringing together local knowledge, international experience, and a contemporary cinematic approach. From development and production to post-production and creative services, we build projects to meet international creative and production standards.
Our stories are shaped by the landscapes, cultures, histories, and people of this part of the world. But the emotions they carry belong to everyone.
We believe the most powerful cinema can be deeply local and profoundly universal.
From Kurdistan to the world.
